Henry Ford Health System Appoints New President & CEO

On January 1, 2017, Wright Lassiter, III was appointed the new president and CEO of Henry Ford Health System. Mr. Lassiter served as the company's system president since December 2014, and succeeds Nancy Schlichting, who retired at the end of 2016.

Before he joined Henry Ford Health System, Mr. Lassiter was CEO of Alameda Health System in Oakland, California, seeing the company through an expansion and turnaround that resulted in significant company success. He also brings over 25 years of experience with large health systems, and his work has earned him national recognition.
