Henry Ford Health System Acquires Jackson, Flint Health Care Systems
Henry Ford Health System has expanded with the acquisition of Allegiance Health in Jackson, MI and HealthPlus in Flint, MI. The acquisitions have added approximately $800 million in annual revenue and expanded the Detroit-based system's reach by 75 miles to the west/northwest of the city.
Henry Ford Health System is a Detroit-based integrated system with a medical group of 1,200 physicians, and a 662,000-member health insurance company.
