Hinge Health To Acquire Medical Device Maker Enso To Expand Its Musculoskeletal Therapy Solutions
Hinge Health, which provides its Digital Musculoskeletal Clinic™ product, is acquiring the maker of Enso, a technology used to help reduce pain for people with musculoskeletal (MSK) pain. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Enso is a clinically validated non-invasive, non-addictive technology, controlled by a smartphone app, that delivers delivering a patented electrical stimulation treatment that relaxes the muscles and calms the nerves. In a double-blind clinical trial, people using the Enso device reported that their pain levels dropped by 56%. About 86% of users reported that the device delivered clinically effective relief.
