Hospice Of The Valley To Build New Dementia Care & Education Campus

Hospice of the Valley recently announced its plans to construct a new Dementia Care and Education Campus. The campus will be built on what was the former location for the Scottsdale Unified School District, and will focus on care and support for both consumers with dementia and their caregivers.

The campus, which is anticipated to open by June of 2019, will include the following:

A 10-bed dementia palliative care unit for people with advanced disease on hospice.
A 12-bed assisted living home for people with mild, moderate, or advanced dementia.
An adult day care center for 20 people . . .
