HouseWorks To Buy Amedisys’ Personal Care Division For $50 Million

HouseWorks LLC, which provides personal care services in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, and Maine, signed a definitive agreement to acquire most of the Personal Care division at Amedisys, Inc. which provides home health, hospice, and high-acuity care. Amedisys will retain its personal care operations in Florida. The deal is valued at $50 million, and is expected to close in mid-2023.
