Indiana Adding Five Sites For Opioid Addiction Treatment
The state of Indiana will add five more opioid addiction treatment centers to its 14 existing medication-assisted treatment facilities. The new additions will be made in hopes of curbing deadly addiction to heroin and other pain-killing drugs in a state that saw more than a 300% increase in the number of overdose deaths from heroin between 2010 and 2015.
