Inland Empire Health Plan In California Launches Nutrition Pilot With Mom’s Meals
Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP), a Medicaid health plan in California, launched a nutrition pilot with Mom’s Meals for members with heart failure. For the pilot, Mom’s Meals is providing medically tailored, home-delivered meals and food boxes, paired with nutrition education, and home visits. The goal of the pilot is improve the participants health outcomes. If the pilot is deemed successful, IEHP may extend the meal service to other member populations.
