KidsPeace Foster Care Launches Autism-Focused Program In Berks County, Pennsylvania

KidsPeace Foster Care (Kids Peace) launched a new autism-focused foster care (AFFC) program for children and families in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The program identifies, recruits, and trains individuals as foster parents who are equipped to provide a loving and supportive foster home experience for youth with autism who are placed into the program via the county’s Children and Youth Services office and/or Family Court. 

The program is managed by KidsPeace Foster Care’s office in Temple, Pennsylvania. The foster parent recruitment is made possible by funding from Berks County’s allotment under the federal Family First Prevention . . .
