KinderCare Educations, Which Is Backed By Partners Group, Acquires Rainbow Child Care Center

Partners Group-backed organization KinderCare Education (KinderCare) recently announced it has acquired the Troy, Michigan-based child care provider organization Rainbow Child Care Center (Rainbow). Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

KinderCare will acquire Rainbow’s 140 centers throughout 16 states—numbers which made Rainbow the eighth largest child care provider organization in the country. KinderCare currently operates more than 1,300 centers throughout the country, serving more than 185,000 children in 40 states and the District of Columbia.
