LifePoint Merges With RCCH HealthCare Partners, Goes Private

Brenwood, Tennessee-based LifePoint Health (LifePoint) recently completed its merger with RCCH HealthCare Partners (RHHC). RHHC is owned by New York, New York-based Apollo Global Management, one of the country’s largest alternative asset managers.

The resulting entity currently has regional health systems, hospitals, and other practices throughout more than 85 counties in the United States. As part of the transaction, David Dill has been appointed as LifePoint’s CEO.
