Lyft and Call9 are partnering to allow clinical professionals and on-site first responders to schedule Lyft rides for family members of individuals who are in nursing homes where Call9 operates. The expanded utilization of Lyft’s platform is anticipated to improve communication between families, particularly when people living in nursing homes experience changes in their health condition.

The service—which is also available to family members who do not have the Lyft app—will allow Call9 first responders present in nursing homes to immediately alert family members of those they care for of any immediate health needs or changes . . .
