Maryland Announces $9.1 Million In Grants For New Homeless Solutions Program
The administration of Maryland governor Larry Hogan recently announced more than $9.1 million in grant awards to the local Continuums of Care to combat homelessness. The grants will be administered through the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development’s new Homelessness Solutions Program.
The state anticipates that the grants will fund services for about 15,000 Marylanders who are either experiencing homelessness, or at-risk for becoming homeless.
