McLeod Health Plans New $45 Million Hospital In Cheraw, South Carolina  

South Carolina-based McLeod Health is building a new hospital in the city of Cheraw, expected to cost $45 million. The company said the facility will be constructed on existing McLeod Health Cheraw property. It will replace an existing facility that was built in 1980. ;

McLeod assumed operation of the facility in 2015, and it has leased the property from the owner since that time. It plans to purchase the existing hospital and property for $5.8 million. ;
