Michigan’s Insight Health System To Acquire Hospital From ProMedica  

Insight Health System, based in Flint, Michigan, plans to acquire Coldwater Regional Hospital from ProMedica. Financial terms were not disclosed.  

The hospital is located in Coldwater, Michigan. Insight said it planned to keep the facility’s leadership team intact. The transaction is expected to be completed by November 1, 2024.;

Coldwater is licensed for 75 beds. In previous years, it;had eliminated its in-patient surgical floor service and closed beds on its second floor. In 2023, ProMedica closed Coldwater’s home health care unit and its labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum department. ;
