Mississippi Hospitals & FQHCs Form New Coalition To Find Solutions To Increase Access To Care
A group of Mississippi hospital systems and Federally Qualified Community Health Centers (FQHCs) in the state formed the Mississippi Healthcare Collaborative. It will focus on developing and providing sustainable solutions to challenges that limit consumer access to care. The collaborative is led by former state Medicaid Director Drew Snyder.
The collaborative is working on the following topics:
Supplemental Payments: To identify potential changes by CMS to the MHAP ACR program. The collaborative members believe this program has been important in protecting access to care and jobs. The members seek to mitigate any negative effects of such changes.
