Mississippi Opioid Settlement Fund Advisory Council Recommends Grantees
The Mississippi Opioid Settlement Fund Advisory Council's list of recommended grant recipients has been sent to the legislature for its consideration, according to an announcement. The fund currently holds $105.2 million. Of that amount, $90 million is for abatement activities to address addiction, and $14.8 million is for non-abatement activities. The council received 127 applications for funding.
Applicants included state and local government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and corporate entities throughout the state.
