Molina Healthcare To Acquire Affinity Health Plan For $380 Million

Molina Healthcare Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire New York-based Medicaid managed care plan Affinity Health Plan for $380 million in cash. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021.

Affinity serves approximately 284,000 Medicaid members in New York City area, including many in Westchester, Orange, Nassau, Suffolk, and Rockland counties. Its premium revenue for the 12 months ended July 31, 2020, was about $1.3 billion.
