New Childhood Mental Health Facility With $56 Million In State Funding Opening In Richmond

A new facility, the Virginia Treatment Center for Children (VTCC), will open in Richmond in the spring of 2018. The pediatric behavioral health facility has already received $56 million in state funding, in addition to raising about $10 million in funds.

VTCC will be 199,000 square-feet and add an additional eight inpatient rooms and eight outpatient rooms to the location’s existing treatment center, located at the Children’s  Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
