New Rhode Island Child Welfare Director Chosen

Trista Piccola, current Deputy Director of Performance Evaluation and Innovation for Cuyahoga County Ohio's Health and Human Services agency, has been chosen to lead Rhode Island's Department of Children, Youth and Families. Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo submitted Ms. Piccola's name to the state Senate for advice and consent.

Ms. Piccola replaces outgoing director Jamia McDonald, who announced she was stepping down in September, 2016.
