New York State Department of Health Reorganizes To Emphasize Health Equity, Aging & Emergency Preparedness
The New York State Department of Health (DOH) is reorganizing. It recently established two new offices, a Chief Medical Officer (CMO), and established a leadership cabinet to optimize the DOH efforts to improve health equity, aging services, and overall emergency preparedness. The two new offices are the Office of Aging & Long Term Care, and the Office of Health Equity & Human Rights.
