Philadelphia Health Centers Awarded $1.2 Million To Expand Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Options
The federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded $1.2 million in federal grants to community health centers in Philadelphia. The funding will be used to offer more behavioral health options in primary care.
The funding was split evenly, with $600,000 grants going to two organizations: the Greater Philadelphia Health Action, ;and the city Department of Public Health’s Ambulatory Health Services division. The latter manages nine;City Health Centers.;
