Prime Healthcare Foundation To Transform Suburban Community Hospital Near Philadelphia Into A 15-Bed Behavioral Health Facility
Prime Healthcare Foundation plans to transform Suburban Community Hospital in East Norriton, Pennsylvania, into a 15-bed behavioral health facility for adults age 55 and older. Suburban Community Hospital will cease operations as an acute care hospital on June 30, 2025. Independent medical practices at the Suburban facility will continue to operate. The practices include Fox Chase Cancer Center, Primary Care of East Norriton, and Suburban Family Medicine at Norristown.
