Program Launched To Treat Pregnant Women Battling Addiction Disorder
New England health care provider organizations and experts from the University of New Hampshire are collaborating to help treat pregnant women struggling with addiction disorder. The efforts are particularly focused on women living in rural areas.
As part of the initiative, health care provider organizations throughout the area will have access to behavioral health experts via a telehealth system. The experts from the university will focus on identifying the strategies, screening tools, and resources that can be used to help the women struggling with addiction.
