Providence Service Corporation To Acquire Simplura Health Group For $575 Million To Enter Home Care Market
Providence Service Corporation (Providence) is planning to acquire Simplura Health Group for $575 million from One Equity Partners. The acquisition will allow Providence to enter the home care market. The transaction is slated to close during the fourth quarter of 2020. The acquisition will augment Providence’s wholly owned subsidiary LogistiCare Solutions, LLC, which provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services, and Providence’s minority interest in Matrix Medical Network which provides assessment and care management services.
