Scranton Counseling Center Opens Crisis Unit
Scranton Counseling Center opened a Crisis Receiving and Stabilization Unit (CRSU) to serve Lackawanna and Susquehanna counties in central Pennsylvania. The unit provides adults age 18 and older with a 24-hour walk-in crisis unit that has eight beds for 23-hour crisis care. Stays can last up to 72 hours for mental health and addiction treatment. The new crisis unit opened January 5, 2024.
