Seven Arkansas COPE Groups To Share $4.4 Million In Federal Drug-Free Communities Grants To Address Local Substance Use
Seven Arkansas Coalition Partnership Empowerment (COPE) groups;were awarded Drug Free Communities (DFC) grants from the U.S. Office of National Drug Control Program. According to the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP), each coalition will receive $125,000;annually for five years, for an aggregate value of $4.73 million over the five-year term.
Coalitions funded by DFC engage sectors of the community to address local substance use concerns. The funded coalitions will also have the opportunity to apply for a second five-year term of funding. ;
