Spectrum Health Finalizes Merger With 3-Hospital System

Michigan-based health system Spectrum Health (Spectrum) recently finalized a merger with Lakeland Health (Lakeland). As part of the merger, Lakeland is rebranding as Spectrum Health Lakeland.

Lakeland’s system includes about 4,000 employees and three hospitals throughout Michigan. According to statements from Lakeland leadership, the health system anticipates that being part of Spectrum will enhance its efforts to fulfill its commitment of navigating health care’s changes to take great care of consumers in Michigan.
