Trinity Health Combines St. Joseph Mercy Health System & Mercy Health

Trinity Health is combining its St. Joseph Mercy Health System and Mercy Health into one system. Trinity Health is based in Livonia, Michigan with systems based in southeast and west parts of Michigan.

The new statewide system will join two systems made up of 10 hospitals and nearly 22,500 employees. Altogether it will have 2,357 licensed beds, nine outpatient health centers, 12 urgent care centers and 35 specialty facilities. Trinity Health aims to unify Michigan operations to strengthen the system’s brand.
