TRRMC Closes Inpatient Behavioral Health Units

Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center (TRRMC) recently announced it is closing its inpatient behavioral health units. Effective as of April 3, the hospital is no longer offering such services for adolescents or adults.

The decision came after TRRMC determined that needed renovations for the units would have not been feasible due to financial and logistical reasons. It is anticipated that another nearby hospital, Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, will have the capacity to take on the added volume of inpatient care that will be transitioning from TRRMC.
