Two Indiana Organizations Serving Consumers With Developmental Disabilities Merge
Michiana Resources (MRI) and Parents and Friends (PAF), both of which provide services to consumers with developmental disabilities in Indiana, merged as of June 30. The two organizations were part of a strategic alliance for a year prior to the merger.
The newly formed organization, Paladin, hopes to combine MRI's focus on facility-based habilitation and vocational services with PAF's focus on residential supports in order to widen the range of services offered to consumers.
