UPMC Children’s Expands Pediatric Emergency Consultations To North Central Pennsylvania

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh announced the expansion of pediatric emergency care telemedicine consultation services in north central Pennsylvania. Clinical professionals caring for children in the emergency departments at UPMC’s hospitals in the region, including UPMC Cole, UPMC Lock Haven, UPMC Muncy, UPMC Wellsboro and UPMC Williamsport, can now consult with a board-certified UPMC Children’s pediatric emergency medicine physician via telemedicine. The specialized emergency department-to-emergency department consultations are available 24/7, ensuring children in the region have access to specialty care when they need it.
