Washington Health System & UPMC Pursue Affiliation

Washington Health System (WHS) and UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center) are exploring an affiliation agreement that would integrate WHS into the UPMC system. The WHS and UPMC Boards of Directors both signed a non-binding letter of intent to negotiate the affiliation agreement. WHS serves the residents of Washington and Greene counties in Pennsylvania.
