Wayne State University Wins Grant To Support Health Needs Of Detroit Children
Wayne State University’s Merrill Palmer Skillman Institute (MPSI), based in Detroit, received a new $4 million grant designed to help prevent serious emotional and behavioral problems in Detroit’s young children while promoting healthy development and reducing health disparities. The grant was awarded through the Project LAUNCH program of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
