WellCare To Award Micro-Grants To Mississippi Social Service Organizations

WellCare Health Plans, Inc. (WellCare) is awarding a total of $5,000 in micro-grants to Mississippi social service agencies in denominations of $500, $1,000 and $1,500. The WellCare micro-grant program partners with organizations that are working to make a difference in their communities and the lives of the company's members; these grants will address care gaps related to education, use disorder, housing services, and obesity.

This is just the latest round of WellCare's micro-grant program. Last October, WellCare awarded $10,000 total in micro-grants to Mississippi, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
