Bahrain-based Investcorp recently announced it has acquired a majority interest in Sweden-based Cambio Healthcare Systems AB (Cambio). The founders and management team of Cambio will still hold a significant stake in the organization in wake of the transaction.

Cambio currently has customers throughout Denmark, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, serving more than 150,000 individuals through its software solutions. Investcorp CEO Hazem Ben-Gacem cited Cambio’s foothold in the European region, innovative solutions, and overall growth potential as reasons for its interest in the acquisition.
