Founded in 1853, Children's Aid (Formerly The Children's Aid Society) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides services to at-risk children and their families, including adoption and foster care, counseling and home-based services, health services, and community schools. Children’s Aid is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Their mission statement is "We help children in poverty to succeed and thrive.
