Founded in 1913, Hillsides is a non-profit that provides residential, community based, special education, foster care, adoption, and youth services to at-risk children and their families, while in collaboration with more than 140 community organizations, including 20 school districts. They are accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).

Their mission is “We are a premier provider dedicated to healing children and young adults, strengthening families, and transforming communities through quality comprehensive services and advocacy. We envision a world in which children and young adults, families, and communities are able to heal, grow, and thrive.”
