They explained VOA Eastern WA’s new approach to solving both sides of the health and housing equation by leveraging funding to replace emergency shelter with stabilization and respite to respond to complex care needs. They have moved from congregate shelter to an outpatient bridge model that integrates clinical stabilization, recovery, and housing placement in a service-rich outpatient setting.
