Runaway & Homeless Youth Services By Rising Ground: An OPEN MINDS Program Profile
Founded as the Leake and Watts Orphan House in 1831, Rising Ground is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides children and family services, including foster care and adoption, intellectual and developmental disabilities services, early childhood education centers and programs, juvenile justice programs, runaway and homeless youth services, anti-intimate partner and/or gender-based violence services, health and mental health clinics, and community-based supports and respite. The National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities have both accredited Rising Ground.
