January 6, 2011 On January 19, 2011, a majority of the U.S. House of Representatives voted to repeal the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 and the companion bill The Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010. They voted on House Resolution 2, (HR2) The Repealing the Job-Killing Health Care Law Act; 245 in favor to 189 opposed.
