New Jersey Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act
January 7, 2010 On January 18, 2010, New Jersey's former Governor Jon S. Corzine signed a measure to legalize the use of medical marijuana in the state for patients diagnosed with severe illnesses such as cancer, AIDS, muscular dystrophy, or multiple sclerosis to have access to marijuana distributed through state- monitored dispensaries called "alternative treatment centers."
