January 13, 2011 On January 13, 2011 the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) voted unanimously to recommend that Medicare beneficiaries pay a copayment for home health services. Designed to reduce fraud and unnecessary home health service utilization, the copayment would affect approximately 30 million beneficiaries.
