New Hampshire 10-Year Mental Health Plan

This plan was issued by the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services on January 15, 2019. Some of the key elements called for in the 10-year mental health plan include:

Assistance with barriers to access and the social determinants of mental health
Attention to the needs of special populations
Enhanced school-based mental health
Multiple alternatives to the emergency department and psychiatric hospitalization
More integrated primary care
Supported transition between steps in the continuum of care
Infusion of peer supports throughout the system
