Connecticut Seeks Gatekeeper Program
January 20, 2011 Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services seeks a contractor to expand the Gatekeeper Program, which is an evidence based program for at-risk older adults. The Gatekeeper Program provides education to the community and direct services to the elderly and uses proactive community training with nontraditional service providers (such as postal workers, hairdressers, store clerks) to locate, identify and refer older adults, 55 and older, who are at-risk due to behavioral health issues.
