Memorandum For The Heads Of Executive Departments & Agencies; Regulatory Freeze Pending Review
On January 24, 2017, the Federal Government released this memorandum for the heads of executive departments and agencies regarding the regulatory freeze pending review. The memorandum was written on January 20 by the assistant to the President and Chief of Staff, and outlines President Trumps plan for managing the Federal regulatory process at the outset of his Administration. The memorandum also outlines the steps requested  of these individuals in order to ensure that the President’s appointees or designees have the opportunity to review any new or pending regulations . . .
