January 29, 2010 On January 29, 2010, the U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS), Labor (DOL), and Treasury released an interim final rules on how employers and health insurers must implement the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008 (MHPAEA) for plan years beginning on or after July 1, 2010.
