Kansas RFI For Behavioral Health Prevention Integration & Innovation Project
The Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Division released this request for information in February 2015 too seek “new perspectives and new approaches to designing a comprehensive prevention system that is inclusive of multiple behavioral health concerns.” The goal of the new approach is to eliminate disparate efforts and better leverage collective community resources toward shared outcomes. Previously, BHS prevention services were focused on specific conditions, such as substance abuse, problem gambling, and mental health and suicide prevention.
