Summary of Georgia NAMI Opening Doors to Recovery Project
February 8, 2011 The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Georgia summarized its Opening Doors to Recovery project, which will test an innovative case management model intended to help 100 people with serious mental illness avoid rehospitalization and incarceration. The model relies on three-member Community Navigation Specialist (CNS) teams that include a mental health consumer in recovery, a family member, or a licensed mental health professional.
