March 2, 2010 On March 2, 2010, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a $3.57 million expansion to add 26 inpatient psychiatric beds at the Augustus F. Hawkins Comprehensive Mental Health Center inpatient unit at the Willowbrook campus of the Martin Luther King Jr. medical campus.
