On March 2, 2017, the New Hampshire Insurance Department released this document outlining key market conduct examination findings of insurers’ substance use disorder (SUD) claims handling practices. Exams were done on the state's largest insurers: Anthem, Cigna, and Harvard Pilgrimage. The purpose of the exams is to look at a company’s practices in the marketplace.
